Welcome to my world!
I grew up to be a fun driven, spur of the moment, and eager to get my hands on anything that would enable me to put a smile on someone's face, type of girl. I was influenced by the mood of nature, and the spontaneity of human emotion. If I could charm you, that made my day. With such ongoing jovial energy, my mother figured she'd better put her daughter in an active program where she could exert all that energy and creativity. So “little Raistalla” at the tender age of six was enrolled in dance, beginning with Tap, followed by piano lessons, which led to the discovery of her voice.
My interest grew from innocent fun to a realization of talent. My mother enrolled me in music and voice training from elementary school to high school. Tap couldn't have been the better dance form for me to learn first, as my key forte of today is that of sound and movement combined. “I am the sound and the movement.” Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theater, Modern/Contemporary, Hip Hop, African, and many other forms of dance soon followed through the years leading to my career as a professional dancer.
After performing, for several years in the entertainment industry as a professional dancer, touring with top artists such as Madonna, Outkast, Missy Elliot, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, and more, the time has come for me to emerge as an artist and take center stage as a singer/performer.
My debut album, “RAISTALLA,” was experimental; basically a tool for me to physically show my transfer from dancer to singer/performing artist. It enabled me to put many different characters and abilities on display for people to understand what I want to do. "I'm a performer; I become the scenario and manifest it through music and dance."
Here's a description of my motivation behind each song off my self title debut album:
" Long Way" represents the "Fantabulastic" (fantastic and fabulous); the side that's silky, sexy, bright and ready to rocket to the moon. If you don't hurry you'll miss me. " Tonight " is the young, eager side that crushes easily and yearns to gratify those emotions. " Pressure " is the ultra diva, dramatic side. I've gotta tell the world how I feel. " Miami Sugar " is the cultural/island influence. I am in heat and very flirtatious with the island boys. " Feel Good ", the ultra fun, euro, dance party girl who wears bright pinks and blues with black and white checker bike shorts dancing in the laser lights all night long. " Attention " is the 80's vixen; the sex kitten who wants it all. " Clownin ' Out" is the cool girl whose voice hypnotizes you into submission. " Good Work " is a more experimental yet serious side pointing out the facts in life. " Fallin N' Krashin " represents the ethereal, psychotic side that's a bit recluse and over protective of her heart. " Krazy " is the fun, young, experimental side of just trying something different. " Speed Racer ”? Well, is life's lesson, and that's all I can say about that.
I feel now that my album has served its purpose. Now I have found the direction to take my new sound to the next level. It's called “Electro-Funk!” It's an exiting fusion of Funk, Pop, Electronica. My new sound will resemble the fire of Beyonce, the innocence of Rihanna, and the funky and always trendsetting creativity of Missy Elliot.

My first new single "Shut It Down" is about busting your moves! It's about that feeling you get when you walk in a party and you know the dance floor is yours; whether you're krunking, klowning, stepping, locking, popping, breaking, or freestyling! “I will know when I've reached success when people feel compelled to make things happen after they hear my music. I will know when I've reached success when my music is heard and enjoyed across the world. I will know when my performances transcend a new genre that is “Electro-Funk” and sets the new standard for what we call the “Live Show!”
