Let’s start with the great success of the new single and video from Avantasia reaching the top of the DC Charts in less than a week followed right after by our DigiFestival.net Audience Winner Raistalla with the new single “Shut It Down”. I had the pleasure to meet Rais here in Florence for the DF Final Event. Raistalla is well known in the industry as a professional dancer, touring with top artists such as Madonna, Outkast, Missy Elliot, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, and is now mature to emerge as a solo artist and take center stage as a singer/performer. And believe me she’s very very talented … we’ll be hearing more and more from her.
The Festival Final Event went by with all the winners and guest joining us for 4 days of performing and screenings and of course partying. We were so happy to have all the artists here in Florence and to finally have the chance to meet in person and to “put a face” on the fine art made by them. In the end we think that it’s not the festival who makes the artist but the artists who make the festival happening. And the festival happened with most likely unexpected results starting with the huge presence who reached more than 40.000 in 4 days!
